been fans of the meaty Sicilian anchovies packed by
Agostino Recca. A
glance at the jar told me the product came from
Sciacca, a fishing village not far from Erice, so we
decided to add the town to our itinerary. We could watch
the anchovy boats come in, eat fresh anchovies in a local
restaurant and maybe visit the factory."
