Ortalli Balsamic Vinegar
Balsamic Vinegar is a highly prized and carefully
prepared product which has existed for centuries. Its
birthplace is Modena, in Northern Italy, and it is in
the surronding countryside that the Ortalli family have
their five estates from which come the grapes used in
the famous, award-winning ORTALLI BRAND.
Red Label - 500ml. This is the largest selling
product and is recognisable by the characteristic
bitter-sweet aroma and taste. It comes from the
Marzaglia estate set in the North Fast of the city of
Modena. Recommended for salad dressings and everyday
use.
Gold Label - 250ml. This comes from the beautiful
castle and country estate owned by the ORTALLI family.
This delicately balanced flavour and aroma make the
product ideal for cooking. It is sweeter in aroma and
flavour than the Cascina Palazzo, indicating a longer
ageing of the product. Ideal for roasted meats and fish
and for warm sauces.
Other suggested uses: - Sprinkling it on salads, soups,
stew and pastas - Using it to dress salads, along with
olive oil - Substituting it for red wine when preparing
meat sauces - Sprinkling it on strawberries
Green Label (Organic) - 250ml.The grapes used to produce
this organic balsamic vineyards come from uncontaminated
vincyards carefully selected by the ORTALLI family and the
product is certified by the official agency. BIOAGRICERT in
Bologna. Recommended for salad dressings and everyday
use.
Black Label - 250ml. The Villa Marystella is the winter
residence of the ORTALLI family, and is named after the
President, Signora Marystella. This superior product is
exclusive in it's quality and presentation. Recommended for
"exclusive recipes" as well as for use on fruit, ice cream,
and shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano. Other suggested uses: -
